| Whitmer does not possess protypical drop back passer size, nor does he have a big, powerful arm. He is a very accurate and consistent thrower. He makes solid decisions and does not make many mistakes. Whitmer is deceptively athletic, he can get out of the pocket and make things happen on the run. | As a junior, Whitmer completed 103 of 184 passes for 1,494 yards and 13 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He also gained 168 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries via the ground
Elite 11 Underclassmne selection "Ball Boy", Chicago Sun Times All-Area Honorable Mention.
As a sophomore, Whitmer finished the year with 83 for 159 passing for 1,305 yards and 18 touchdowns to just three interceptions.
Earned All-County Honorable Mention and All-Conference Honors. |
