| A receiver as well as a safety in high school, Cooper was rough around the edges playing receiver, but his nasty dispostion and penchant for contact translates well to the safety position. He has excellent size and is fundamentally sound as a tackler, but won't overlook a chance to make a big hit or interception. Good enough in coverage for free safety and physical enough for strong. | Corey Cooper had 35 receptions and four touchdowns receiving as a sophomore and also had an interception on defense.
Cooper finished his senior season with 80 tackles. Offensively, he had 11 touchdowns receiving for a team that went 2-7.
Cooper plans to major in economics and reports a 3.8 core GPA and a 19 ACT.
