| Biography: |
| Bio: Hassan Adams is one of the most athletic players to ever come through the University of Arizona. He’s a former Parade and McDonald’s All-American who was a contributor his first season before assuming a starting role as a sophomore. He led the Wildcats in scoring a year ago despite playing out of position at power forward. He’ll move back to his natural wing spot this year and should be an emotional leader. He was an honorable mention All-Pac-10 player a year ago and is a preseason All-American by several publications. Adams played for the USA World Championship for Young Men Qualifying team that went 5-0 this summer.
Type of player: Adams has a rare combination of athleticism and power. He’s a tremendous leaper with great quickness, as evidenced by his numerous highlight-reel dunks the past two seasons. He’s always been a better scorer inside, but has drastically improved his outside shot and is now good enough to keep defenders honest. Adams has struggled with his ball-handling and ability to create his own shot off the dribble, but played a lot of point guard over the summer to improve these skills. Despite being just 6-4, Adams is a tremendous rebounder and will be among the team leaders in this category.
