Tracy Abrams Breaks Out For Wolves At TOC

The Fighting Illini basketball team secured a commitment from 2011 Chicago Mt. Carmel point guard Tracy Abrams a year and a half ago. He has tremendous potential, but injuries and switching AAU teams set him back and adversely affected his national rankings. After his play last weekend, he may be back to normal.

Tracy Abrams sprained his ankle severely last fall playing a pickup game. When he played with his Chicago Mt. Carmel team at the University of Illinois Assembly Hall last December, he was still missing his quickness and cutting ability. He played, but the ankle was far from normal.
