According to Richard’s mother this morning they just got home, he’s resting and taking things slow. “It’s going to be a long process for him but we think he’s going to be ok.” Said Mrs. Semrau.
Semrau will stay close to home in Ohio to be with his family during the remainder of this process. Last week Semrau had surgery to remove an internal infection that he got after a bruise to his chest last month.
Head Coach Bruce Weber said, “ Hope is to get back here the second week of January and finish up work for the semester.”
According to sources the university will seek a medical red-shirt for Semrau.
