According to reports from the Chicago Sun-Times and brother Reggie Rose, Illinois is not out of the running for his services just yet. Derrick Rose is giving the Illini another look before he signs on the dotted ling this fall.
''We have discussed it with some close confidants and believe Illinois is a great place,” Reggie Rose, Derrick’s brother said. “The school has a great [basketball] program and it is in our home state. And no decision would be valid without giving Illinois a serious look.''
What most people have failed to understand was just because Rose gave his list of schools didn’t mean the Illini had to stop recruiting him. Rose is a guard that Illinois has been after since his freshman year of high school, the Illinois coaches have stayed loyal to him from the start to the end.
Illiniboard.com will be at the scrimmage tomorrow night, you can bet the Illini faithful will come out in with a lot of love for Rose.
