This is not how Chester Frazier wanted to start his college career at the University of Illinois. Read here for details.

Illinois reserve guard Chester Frazier could miss 4-to-8 week due to an injury to his left leg. Tuesday an MRI was done and information found was a slight tear and strain of his left quadriceps muscle.

Now freshman guard Jamar Smith from Peoria and Junior guard Rich McBride will have to step up their play to give point guard Dee Brown a break during games. McBride is also nursing a leg injury that the staff is watching very closely.

Either Smith or McBride will have to learn how to run the team and do so quickly, starting tonight against Georgetown.

Illinois takes on Georgetown tonight at Assembly Hall the game will be shown on ESPN.
