Henry Makes His Choice

The junior college running back is headed to the Big Ten.

The junior college ranks continues to be a good route for the Illini staff to take.

Illinois received a verbal commitment from running back Henry Enyenihi on Thursday, the second JUCO prospect to join the 2015 class this week.

Enyenihi recently picked up his Illini offer, with California, Colorado State and Kansas State expressing interest.

A 6-foot-1, 220-pound Decatur, Ga., native, Enyenihi rushed for 645 yards and two touchdowns as a redshirt freshman for Sacramento City (Calif.) last season.

The Illini now have 10 pledges in the 2015 class, including three JUCO prospects (Enyenihi, TE Andrew Davis, OL Zachary Heath) and three running backs (Enyenihi, Dre Brown, Reggie Corbin).
