Scouting Elite 100: Tony Bradley

Tony Bradley established himself as one of the top big men to watch after a strong performance at Elite 100. Here's a more detailed look into the Florida post player.

The Nike Elite 100 Camp featured the best group of post players in a long time. Among those that were most impressive was Bartlow (FL) power forward Tony Bradley. The rising junior recently picked up an offer from Illinois. Here we break down his game and how it would potentially fit in with the Illini.

First Impressions

Bradley is a 6'8" 234 pound post that has an impressive 7'4" wingspan. He knows how to use his physical tools to his advantage on both ends of the floor. The Florida high school product has great mobility and smooth movements around the basket. He has a knack for going over either shoulder and finishing with a soft touch. Bradley also showed the ability to effectively finish on the opposite side of the basket when the defender took his other avenue away.

Position Skills

While in the post Bradley used several quick spin moves as well as some sweeping jump hook shots. He does a nice job banking the ball off the glass. Bradley also exhibited flashes of a face up game where he received the ball in the 15-18 foot range and attacked.

He is a plus rebounder than uses his length to high point the ball. Throughout the week he did a solid job rebounding against a variety of post players. His ability on the offensive glass was evident as he had several offensive rebounds for finishes. The junior utilizes his length on the defensive end both altering shots and getting in passing lanes.

Bradley's game would be a good fit in the Illinois system as a power forward with his mobility, activity on the front line, and upside.
