"I really do not know anymore," Nolan Kelleher said with a laugh on Monday. "Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech were my top three last week, but Florida State offered me on Friday, then Georgia offered me today, so things kind of changed for me quickly."
The FSU offer came right before the 6-foot-5, 285 pound offensive tackle visited Tallahassee.
"I talked to them on the phone Friday and that is when they told me about the FSU offer, then I went down on Saturday for Junior Day.
"I was escorted around FSU by offensive line coach Rick Trickett and he is great. I like him a lot. He reminds me a lot of my offensive line coach at Wando and he is awesome. It was my first time at FSU and I really like how they run things. They keep things in line, the coaches have great control of things, and I was really impressed."
A couple of days after returning from FSU, Kelleher got some surprising news from Georgia.
"Coach Will Friend sent me a message on Facebook asking me to call him, so I did, and they he offered me. Coach Friend said, 'We need more like you at Georgia and I want to give you an offer.' It came out of nowhere. I have received a few letters from Georgia, but this was a big surprise."
This Palmetto State offensive tackle has not been to Athens yet, but he has heard what it is like around UGA.
"All I hear is good things about Georgia. I heard their campus is amazing, I have heard the college town is great, and I definitely want to get down there."
The only visit he has set up at this time is to Virginia Tech on March 23. The Hokies have offered as has Connecticut, Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, and North Carolina State along with FSU and UGA now.
Expect more to come in. Kelleher's film is impressive and when you combine the film with the size and the academics, he is an easy offer.
"I have a 3.9 GPA right now and I have scored 1290 on the SAT, but I want to do better, so I will take it again," he said. "It is nice to see hard work paying off with offers."
After picking up the new offers over the past few days, Kelleher no longer has any favorites.
