Trout Talks OSU

Lancaster (OH) junior Kyle Trout made a return trip to Columbus to watch Ohio State take on Michigan. Check out how the visit went for the offensive tackle.

6-foot-6, 280 pound junior Kyle Trout has been in talking to Ohio State since the summer. This past weekend, he made the short drive to Columbus to watch the Buckeyes play Michigan.

"The game was pretty cool. Very loud and intense but very cold," said Trout. "The atmosphere was great. There were so many people. It was definitely the most hype and loudest I've been to before."

The offensive tackle has been impressed with what Coach Urban Meyer has done with the team his first year.

"In the first half, the team looked a little slow, but they picked it up in the second half and Urban has done a good job. The 12-0 speaks for itself."

While on campus, Trout and his family bonded with other recruits.

"My dad talked with Nick Carovillano's dad and I talked to Nick Richardson a little bit. Other than the coaches shaking my hand and thanking me for coming, I didn't really talk to them too much."

So how did the visit affect Trout's view of Ohio State?

"I am impressed by Ohio State but I need more time with the coaches to get a good feel."
