Reon Dawson on Michigan's Radar

Michigan is looking once again at the school that has been so good to them, Trotwood-Madison. Up on a visit this weekend was 2013 cornerback Reon Dawson. Reon talked to GBW about who he came up with and what he thought about the visit.

Reon Dawson (6-2/175) has known Michigan commit Mike McCary since they were little kids. So when Mike decided to attend the Iowa game, Reon was coming along for the ride.

"Mike asked me if I was coming to the game and I told him yes," he told GoBlueWolverine. "We just came up together. I really liked the game. It was good to see Michigan and talk with the coaches."

The Michigan coaching staff has been keeping a watchful eye on the 2013 6'1 190 pound cornerback/receiver, who is an Illinois verbal commit. He was all too pleased that he had the opportunity to speak with the coaches.

"The coaches told me they seen my film and they like the way I play and how I use my length. They want me to keep playing hard and to stay in contact with them."

Dawson is focusing on his team's playoff run at this time.

"We won our last playoff game and we played well as a team. After the season I will start to look at recruiting a little more."
