Michigan Defensive End Hopes For UI Offer

The Fighting Illini recruited no defensive ends last year, and the two projected starters this fall are seniors. So the position is a priority for 2013. Among those prospects being evaluated for precious scholarships is Michigan's Daniel Davis, who visited campus last Wednesday.

Daniel Davis visited the Illinois campus from Grand Blanc, Michigan, Wednesday. He was impressed with everything he saw and heard. "It was cool. They have a great coaching staff. I thought it was a beautiful campus. It's bigger than any other campus I've ever been on. I enjoyed seeing the Stadium and Press Box, and they showed me all the jerseys and apparel.
