Ryan West Having Exposive Year At Oswego

The Fighting Illini football team seeks to recruit at least one quarterback every year. They have a commitment from a top quarterback for the 2011 recruiting class, but juniors are prominent in their thinking as well. One who is making a positive impression is Oswego's Ryan West. He threw for 409 yards in a heart-breaking loss to Plainfield North last Friday.

Ryan West did well enough as a high school sophomore to draw attention from colleges. The strong-armed quarterback drew Illinois coaches to his games this summer at the Illini 7 on 7 camp as well.
